My acrylics on canvas contain texture, warm and metallic colors and also collage-like compositions with actual pieces of metal and semi-precious stones worked into the paint. I have always been drawn to abstract designs and the creative process itself. I've discovered the need to let go of preconceived ideas, my ego and judgment of others to return to the child like state where creativity flows freely. For me, that is how I can explore artistic freedom.

My work embodies my interests including: nature, textiles, interior design, Feng Shui, dreams/dream analysis and energy work. My art is influenced by all these ideas melded together. I have been utilizing these themes as the common denominator in my work. Each piece of art comes with a card explaining the energy of the crystal used in the piece, i.e. balancing, harmony, love, healing etc.

I am a graduate of the Philadelphia Institute of Art where I studied fine art as well as graphic design. My work has been shown and sold at galleries in NJ and NY. My background in color theory helped me obtain jobs as a seasonal designer for the Trump Tower and Plaza Hotel in New York City. I also have been commissioned to paint custom pieces for private collectors through my interior design connections.
